Etihad Airport Services LLC (EAS) enhances airport services, ground handling and cargo operations at Abu Dhabi International Airport. EAS is one of Etihad Airways’ four airport services companies, which also include Abu Dhabi Airport Services (ADAS), Abu Dhabi In-Flight Catering (ADIFC) and Abu Dhabi Cargo Company (ADCC).
EAS-Cargo provides import and export services, as well as comprehensive delivery processes for airlines, freight forwarders and other stakeholders at Abu Dhabi airport. The current cargo terminals at Abu Dhabi airport cover 36,000sqm of storage facilities. They incorporate a fully equipped perishables centre, ammunition stores, temperature-controlled rooms, pallet-screening, state-of-the-art CCTV for valuable cargo and 24/7 end-to-end cargo support, including customs and police services, food control and on-call veterinary support.
Our innovative systems allow track and trace through our cargo facilities, better control of short connecting shipments and real time status updates. That enables our teams to plan, evaluate and adapt to changes in flight arrivals, customer requests and forward movement of cargo quickly and efficiently. We’re also busy working on additional capacity projects that will ensure we’re able to continue delivering an outstanding cargo service as we experience an unprecedented growth in demand.
